ALL'OMBRA DI UN'OPERA (DOVE NON CI SONO QUERCE FRONDOSE) (In the shadow of an artwork -without any leafy oak -). The project includes a line of bed heads for children beds: a proper piece of art that will accompany the sleep and the dreams of the little child who will be sleeping in its shadow. Letizia Cariello’s research has always been related to sleep and dream dimensions, which she read as imaginative moments of tales and of diverse and various options than the realty of the waking. The sleep is the moment of memories of a past childhood, but also the possibility to treasure it forever, and the tool allowing to discover settled anticipations that will become new elements. As mathematician Mikhail Gromov used to say: “Doing something new, one doesn’t realize that something new has arisen. One thinks everybody knows it.”
