OGNI VOLTA EDITED BY LAPIS EDIZIONI

Ogni volta is the title of the beautiful (and moving) book published by Lapis Edizioni.
The text by Silvia Vecchini gives a magic formula to read in a poetic way the relationship between parents and children. She focuses on moments of intimate and fruitful exchange between adults and children, showing with the simple formulas "Every time ... it is you who ..." how immensely great is the world of emotions and sensations that a child can disclose to his parents.
The extraordinary images by Daniela Tieni play to hide and reveal the very strong bond, which holds together the receiving of the child and the shower of gifts that reaches those who take care of him with love.

MAQUETTE KIDS

Maquette Kids dollshouses are designed to give children a place to create and build a world of their own. These dollhouses embody the philosophy that children’s imaginations thrive when they are given a fertile habitat for their creative play. Designed with space constraints in mind, each house can be happy alone or with a neighbor - accommodating any number of kids who want to join in the fun. The graceful designs are inspired by the townhouses that line the streets of Brooklyn and all their products are made in New England with durable and time-tested natural materials. Each house comes flat-packed and is easy assembled in 4 steps. Wow!

PICCOLO GIARDINO DI POESIE EDITED BY RIZZOLI

The book Piccolo Giardino di Poesie edited by Rizzoli is child-friendly: simple and clear. Reading it, you will discover a wonderful universe, where dreams and reality mix, and every place, every moment and every object becomes the starting point for a fantastic journey. Taking a cue from the singular child he once was, The author, Robert Louis Stevenson, tells us about childhood, portrayed by the dreamlike and melancholic images of Ilya Green.
We really love this book, starting from the dedication by Robert Louis Stevenson to his beloved nanny, Alison. The Piccolo Giardino di Poesie perfectly matches an old author to a young illustrator.
Graphically, it comes through a challenge: the illustrator uses a four colours range, working for a week; the result of these pine green, coral red, yellow and powder pink images is wonderful!

WE ARE BITTE

We Are Bitte was founded in 2017 by Katrine Loug Jagd.
In 1979, a family member made an elephant chair in his garage. This chair has given rise to great joy for every single child who has met the elephant. And combined with Katrine’s eye for aesthetics, it led to an update of the chair with clear references to the original design. “Eskild Toddler Chair” was born. And We Are Bitte was born.
“Bitte” is the pet name of a beloved family member – the little girl whom the original elephant chair was designed for more than 40 years ago. “Bitte” also means “tiny” in Danish, thus linking our name to the small children around us.
We Are Bitte’s products are designed in Denmark and based on a design tradition that builds on function and craftsmanship, and they create products meant to be passed on for generations.
We Are Bitte salutes slow living, playful moments of life, and close family ties.
Love it!

QUINCAILLERIE BY CAMILLE VIALLET ET THEO LECLERCQ

Quincaillerie is a project by Camille Viallet et Théo Leclercq, a designer duo based in Paris, that has its origins in a simple production system: the circular extrusion of porcelain stoneware. The earth is extruded into a linear log cut to the desired length, spontaneously deformed and without prior drawing, then punctually crushed to accommodate the screws. This production technique allows for formal variation around a basic profile. Each hook is a unique piece.

PETIT CHILDREN'S CHAIRS BY TON

Look at these two Petit Children’s Chairs by Ton.
They manually bend their furniture in the same workshops where their technology has been in use since 1861. They moved the features of their unique technique further more and mix them with contemporary designers’ thoughts. Their tables and chairs become a connection of quality, innovative shapes and a legacy to the place that has learned to understand the wood for generations.
We totally love Petit Children’s Chair No. 114, a high chair with a folding table, footrest and safety belt in the front part of the seat, which is intended for seating and feeding small babies. And the model of the Chair No. 14 designed for children who was already in the product portfolio in 1873!

MALALA LA RAGAZZA CHE VOLEVA ANDARE A SCUOLA

This book edited by De Agostini and written by Adriana Carranca is the story of a modern-day heroine, the youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, teaches us the courage to fight for freedom and the importance of having an education. Malala lives in the Pakistani region of Swat, she is the best in her class and loves books. When she is just a child, her life is suddenly turned upside down. The country falls into the hands of the Taliban, Islamic extremists who impose strict rules on all the inhabitants of the valley, on pain of death. From that moment on, songs, dances and parties are banned. Women can no longer wear colorful clothes or go to the market. Above all, girls are prohibited from attending school. Malala, however, is very brave; her father Ziauddin taught her that you can fight against injustices and is determined to rebel to assert her rights and regain her freedom. At the age of eleven, therefore, she decides to use the only weapons she has: the pen and the word. She starts a blog through which she introduces the tragedy of Swat girls to the whole world and claims that all women need to be educated. The road she has taken is not easy and her life is seriously endangered by a terrible attack on the school bus that brings her home ... But his strength and her determination will be stronger than any attack. Go Malala!
