OCEAN CLOCK

We suddenly fall in love with Ocean Clock brand and his clocks that are a modernisation of the traditional tide ones.
Let's discover its wooden creations for the little ones: a range of clocks showing each day of the week with adorable sea animals. They are so clever because all the different sea characters and their activities will easily enable children, whether they can read or not, to identify the days of the week and the clock face is also divided into two parts, dark and light colour, in order to see the difference between school days and free time. So nice!

GAMCHA

Gamcha is a small village in Nepal where Ane Hansen’s family owned an ecological driven guesthouse. Her father and she became fascinated by the traditional handicrafts that crafters were making in their small workshops - and here the idea of Gamcha started. They wanted to share the beautiful work in Europe and in mean time support the Nepalese crafters. Shanti and Nirjala are two women who started a felt production in 2004 and in collaboration they started designing products fitting the European market. Europeans loved their idea which means that today more than 125 women are working making their designs with fair treatment and payment: they have the vision to help even more nepalese women to get a fair payed job and therewith independence which is rarely for women in Nepal.
With the growing felt production they've added organic cotton products to their collection with illustrative motifs that carry the same playful, imaginative aesthetic as the felt products. They have also added the softest cashmere products crafted in Nepal with beautiful handmade embroideries.

The Werkelküche by Christine Oehme is a gender-open activity workstation that enables children to immerse themselves in free play worlds. In contrast to gender-linked and gender-segregated toys, the elements of the Werkelküche offer diverse possibilities to play. The curved worktop can be used as a sink, workshop or ski slope. The side compartments can provide storage and hiding space or bake crispy rolls. With the help of the colorful and interchangeable tools, children can realize their ideas and imitate the world of adults in a playful way. The Werkelküche combines the formal and aesthetic features of children's kitchens and workbenches. This opens up a wide range of play options that lie between, next to or beyond the tension between the kitchen and the workshop.

POPPY-R BY PORGABÉ

Porgabé is an abbreviation of the phrase ‘Premium ORGAnic BÉbe’. porgabé focuses on ‘presenting high-quality natural products for our babies’. It is composed of 100% organic cotton clothes for babies younger than 12 months, furniture for children made with natural wood, and jewellery products for children, mothers, and fathers. Their signature item, Poppy-R, is a thinking chair, refreshing young minds and offering their parents a little relief. The ‘R’ stands for rabbit; you can’t miss the chair’s cute design, with its back in the shape of lopsided bunny ears and a sweet smile underneath its seat. Poppy-R is made entirely from natural wood, using no harsh chemicals. If your child has misbehaved, Poppy-R is the best way to encourage them to stop and think about what they have done. Sit your child in the chair, put them in touch with their breathing, and bring them back down to earth. This way, the child has time to reflect on what they have done wrong, and the way to avoid such behaviour in the future. This is a great way/method for both parent and child to take a break from each other, calm down and refresh. The chair’s cute ears will help release some of the parent’s stress and anger, and spread good energy into the parent-child relationship.
