For the first time unduetrestella DESIGN WEEK is proud to collaborate with TOG Together To Go, on the occasion of the 2024 Fuorisalone’s edition.

unduetrestella DESIGN WEEK exhibits a selection of design brands for children in the beautiful new spaces at TOG, Carlo De Benedetti Foundation, established ten years ago as a center of excellence in the rehabilitation of children suffering from complex neurological pathologies.

It is a great challenge to demonstrate how design and creativity linked to the world of children are also “recipes”, that are formulas, ways of giving shape to be followed to live in a more fascinating world, just as happens in the clinical field.

Among our participants with design recipes we will have:

ADADA, created by Véronique Lacaze, is a brand of monochromatic, quilted and embroidered, soft and minimal animals, each with its own name, 100% Made in France, hand-sewn by Brittany artisans according to meticulous traditional know-how. Each Adada figure, from the grey mouse Héctor to the fish Paul, is a unique piece, to be personalized with cute outfits. For the occasion unduetrestella with Adada designed tailor-made clothes for TOG. For the first time, the new collection of wooden toys (pull toys, baby walker, rocking horse, ride-on...) is launched.

EPERFA toys, created by designer Anna Nóra Nagy, are inspired by the changing beauty of nature, in the flora and fauna of the hills around Budapest and Lake Balaton. They honor the natural slowness of childhood, allowing children, starting at 3 years of age, to explore freely, observing day after day, year after year. The material used is solid beech wood, without resins or adhesives. Each figure is hand cut, sanded, printed and treated with a natural wax finish, and embossed colors.

Inspired by the ephemeral beauty of the flower and the poetry of haiku, the Flora lamp by OMEGALIGHT was born. This is an unprecedented partnership with  FURF DESIGN STUDIO, who designs it, and who believes that poetry can flourish and illuminate at the same time, just like flowers that bloom and beautify the world. Flora, a masterpiece sculpted in steel and aluminium, was born dimmable and reflects the delicacy of a flower’s petals. Its elegant shape seems to capture the dance of flowers in the wind. Inside beats an illuminated heart of soft and ethereal light.

HAPPY SQUARES, created by Emilie Queney in 2014, is a London brand that produces sustainable playful construction sets, made from recycled material. Three different sets (grey, rainbow, primary colors) and three different quantities (mini, medium or maxi), all composed of panels and connectors to build an infinite number of large-scale configurations, following your imagination and fantasy. The Happy Squares sets, in their simplicity of creativity, allow children aged between three and nine to explore the environment around them in three dimensions, to be the architects of their own “world”.

LIL’GAEA, founded in 2014, is a Turkish brand known for its lovely and playful designs influenced by kids’ imaginative world, the nature and animals. It is about creating a “Happy Story” for children through appealing, pleasant and iconic accessories as wallpaper and wall stickers

Memory game Siamo tutt* pari, created by toy designer, graphic designer and illustrator LUCA BOSCARDIN for CORRAINI EDIZIONI, help us recognize both the things we all have in common and the individual features that make everyone unique. To play this game, composed by 54 cards with illustrations of body parts, you do not have to match two identical images, as in a traditional memory game, but two cards representing the same part of two different bodies.

MATITA is an independent publishing house, born in Venice in 2022 from the intuition of Delphine Trouillard to create a series of eco-sustainable silent books, edited and/or illustrated by architects, for children, parents and beauty lovers. The protagonists are the architectures, the urban realities, the design objects and numerous glimpses of the environment that surrounds us. For TOG a site-specific installation of the enlargement of one of the twenty-four illustrations of book 2, WOW by the all-female duo Venice in Pattern and which portrays the poppies in the greenhouses of the Gardens of Venice.

MOLUK is a Swiss brand, created in 2011 by designer Alex Hochstrasser and his architect sister Doris, which produces deconstructed games and manuals for children. Moluk products invite you to move and explore space, stimulating the senses and the mind, without buttons, batteries or complicated instructions, but powered exclusively by imagination. All Moluk games are totally recyclable, free of painted parts, PVC, phthalates and BPA free. And, above all, they are multifunctional and designed to last over time, to engage and stimulate the little ones in all the evolutionary phases of their growth.

PETIT RETRO is an “atelier de couture” born in 2004 from the collaboration between the Brazilian designer LUCA SCHILLER and the Parisian artist and illustrator Tinou Le Joly Senoville. Using Brazilian artisan techniques to create exclusive fabrics, one-of-a-kind designs and hand-embroidered children’s accessories, Petit Rétro creates collections with a natural and contemporary color palette. For TOG a site-specific installation entitled Ludico made of chairs, books and fabric (and hand-embroidered) tapestries themed on design, architecture and playground.

PLANTOYS is a Thai brand that has been producing wooden children’s toys since 1981 with the desire to contribute to creating a more sustainable world. For more than forty-two years, PlanToys has been creating products using Planwood, obtained from the processing of rubber tree wood waste once its production cycle has finished. PlanToys games are designed to accompany children’s psycho-motor development and are divided by type and by age and learning groups. For TOG unduetrestella selects the new collection of inclusive games from PlanToys, called Better Aging and specifically designed to help give a better quality of life not only to the little ones, but also to the elderly and people suffering from cognitive disorders. Eight products capable of stimulating and training compromised abilities through play. Better Aging by PlanToys is able to create involvement or “challenge”, stimulating positive emotions of fun, pride and humor in children and the elderly, strengthening the relationship and relationships within the family.
