The Galette des Rois is a fantastic cake (and game!) to prepare on January the 6, the Christian holy day called Epiphany (when the 3 wise men visit to baby Jesus). The tradition of serving the Galette des Rois, a puff pastry tart, comes from France and can be traced back to the 14th century. A small porcelain figurine (la fève) is baked inside the cake and whoever receives the little favor is then crowned king/queen for the day. It's easy to preparare: here above you find the ingredients and add readymade puff pastry !
