COLLEGIEN ZERO WASTE

The French knitwear company Collégien is pleased and proud to announce an important change for 2022: the choice of a zero waste approach, in the creation of new eco-sustainable products. The decision comes at a crucial moment: companies have to take care of the planet and respect the environment. After more than seventy years of history and international success, Collégien's commitment is manifested with the new slogan and the new collection For a clean ocean: socks / slippers made of Seaqual®️ Yarn, a particular yarn of the highest quality , containing 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and 10% plastic recovered from the seas and oceans and then recycled. An ethical and moral duty signed by the French brand to prevent the polluting of the marine environment. Collégien also actively contributes to reducing the global impact of its production chain on natural ecosystems, engaging in massive recycling and certification activities. Among the different models, the French company offers a second life to garments that have defects in material and workmanship, such as tights that are transformed into a collection of soft hair bands. The brand has also developed the range of Earth ecological socks / slippers, knitted with the highest quality recycled cotton yarns, gradually passing to the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification for all its textile production, inaugurated with the new line of Juliette socks, personalized with a delicate fretwork.
