NIMIO

NIMIO was born in Madrid in 2012 from a Francesco Monaco idea, an italian architect and designer based in Spain. It is a laboratory for design and self-production of handmade objects for everyday use. It makes and selling customized pieces, create original spaces and explore the horizons of the power of independent design. We discover it and we already love it!

SQUARE BY IN2WOOD

See the new 3 drawer chest Square by In2wood which create high-quality Belgian designs that may appear simple, but are the product of a great deal of thought and professional expertise. This collection is created freehand, perfectly keyed to a nomadic lifestyle, and beautiful in its simplicity. Every piece is simple to move about, allowing you to easily adapt its new function to your interior needs. Fantastic!

PIPOUETTE

Here you are Pipouette and its puppets with interchangeable faces: joy, anger, fear and sadness and multiple combinations to let your children discover and live the emotions with the heart and the body.
Pipouette born from the idea of Nathalie, a mother of a little girl, and it’s mantra is "your emotions are beautiful, live them". So poetical and so beautiful!

SISTERS BY SOPHIE-HARRIS TAYLOR

We love Sisters by Sophie Harris-Taylor, a book published by Hoxton Mini Press that is a celebration of sisterhood, in all its glory and with all its flaws. Sophie spent two years photographing and interviewing more than 100 sisters in an effort to better understand this most intimate of bonds. Her tender portraits combined with short interviews reveal the jealousies, fears, love and laughter that co-exist at the heart of each relationship. Don’t you think that these photos are amazing?

BISAME

We literally love Constantine by Bisame: from birth to adulthood, this piece of furniture accompanies parents and their child and maintains their special bond through small moments of daily complicity.

MUES DESIGN

Launched in 2014, MUES Design is a business run by two sisters both eager to share and express their ideas about interior design. They conceive interior design as an incredible playground where switching from a classic to a kitsch look, from a retro to a contemporary style is not a miscue but an interesting mismatch.
They create wallpapers in their Parisian studio: the depth of their designs comes from a work they do first by hand like water coloring, sketching, drawing…
Have fun looking at these motifs!

ONNI

Onni Design products are based on Scandinavian design tradition, they are designed and manufactured in Finland. The main material used is Finnish solid birch and birch plywood. Their high chair is a classic that your child wants to take with him, and the children's stool is a versatile product that is made into a flower table when there is no longer a suitable seating position. We love these wooden pieces!

ZEEPLOKAAL

The Zeeplokaal originated from the love for pure ingredients without fuss. Owner Thijske had for some time been using less plastic, reusing more and buying second-hand, but was not really aware of what is in an average shampoo or shower gel. Every soap by Zeeplokaal is made to be wonderfully caring and good for mother nature. Every soap is plant-based and therefore 100% vegan friendly! Their soap is free from sulphates such as SLS and SLES. Pure nature it is. They have eight types of soap in their range: including soap with black activated carbon, a scrub soap with poppy seeds, soap for household and two hair soaps. Amazing!

ORIKOMI

We find out Orikomi, an eco-friendly lighting brand that develops handcrafted products using the origami technique. The brand was initially created in November 2013 as a pop-up store to raise funds for a non-profitable organization – Adobe for Women (aimed to support 20 women to build their own adobe houses). In January 2014, the founders Ana Morgado and Carmo Caldeira decided to continue with Orikomi. The Orikomi products are carefully handcrafted in Lisbon, Portugal, using high quality paper and having a great variety of colours and possible conjugations. These lamps are eco-friendly, require a low energy consumption and are totally recyclable, like its packaging made only with compostable and recycled materials. Keep an eye on it!

PLUM MAGAZINE

We are pleased to inform you about Plum magazine, a magazine for children from 8years, in connection with welfare care and nature, and in connection with the 4 elements: water, air, earth, fire. It is a quarterly magazine from France initially printed at 1500 copies and sold through subscription, independent bookshops, Bio coops and other organic  shops, schools of course. We totally love it!

ABSTRACT ASSEMBLY BY DONNA WILSON

Made from Douglas fir with solid oak butterfly joints, they are hand-painted in water-based paint and finished in a clear, natural lacquer. Each piece is available in a limited edition of ten, and every piece will be hand-painted by Donna in bespoke colourways, creating a unique piece for each customer. Gorgeous chairs and benches!

SUSAN BIJL

In the year 2000, Susan Bijl set out to create a bag. As a student of Rotterdam’s Willem de Kooning Academy, she wanted to design one that would render all others obsolete. That bag is The New Shopping Bag. Born partly from the idea of reducing the waste involved with the production of plastic bags; and partly from the ‘less is more’ Dutch design philosophy. The New Shopping Bag was based on the silhouette of a generic plastic bag, Susan gave it her own spin by creating a colourful variation, crafted from Ripstop nylon. The same fabric kites are made of, Ripstop is both indestructible and lightweight. The only thing lacking was a signature. After many sketches and prototypes, Susan created the iconic ‘Flash’ – a diagonal stripe that has appeared on every product she’s designed. Discover it together with other Susan Bijl new products like The New Pouch, The New Backpack, The New Bum Bag and The New Raincoat.

NUDO DESIGN

NUDO design (Domenico Russo and Kaja Ałaszkiewicz) is an Italian - Polish mix of strong minimalistic aesthetics, craftsmanship tradition and PR/architectural background. Relative to the human body or its parts, not covered by garments, naked. Also, referred to things that are without any usual, possible ornaments and decorative objects. Simplicity is the point!

KUKUU

KUKUU furniture by architect Aija Priede-Sietina and designer Daneks Sietins was born together with their second daughter. Born because, while they were cradling their first child, they grew tired of looking for functionally designed, ecological, sustainable and matching furniture that is safe for children, and which, rather than suppressing it, actually nurtures a child’s personality. Love it!

KOLEKTO

Look at Kolekto, wooden toys handmade in Copenaghen of sustainable materials. They are created in the field between sculpture, art and imaginary play - for children and adults.

NATURBRUSH

We discover Naturbrush, the first Spanish brand of biodegradable toothbrushes. We really love them because they represent a small change in our daily lives that can configure great long-term achievements. Its manufacture in bamboo not only helps not invade or deforest free natural spaces, but also its cultivation contributes to increasing the global forest mass thanks to rapid and vigorous growth. But a biodegradable Naturbrush brush is not only a succession of small gestures that can make great progress in caring for our environment, it also takes care of our health because Bamboo is a natural antibacterial, repels microbes and external agents that accumulate in the traditional plastic brush. We surely need one of it!
