JEANNE LE STUDIO

Jeanne Le Studio was invented and founded in the middle of the COVID19-crisis - May 2020.
Jeanne from Belgium was temporarily unemployed, being at home with her 3 daughters. The world slowed down. Slow life was a great gift for her. Thanks to this crisis, she received precious time and freedom to work with her hands, combined with mindful motherhood.
Jeanne Le Studio is about timeless items of beautiful organic quality. An unique handmade assortiment that blends perfectly into an adult interior so you can leave it lying around and enjoy it for a very long time.
That is actually what we all want the most? Sure!

HONU

Claire Matthews, founder of Honu, was on maternity leave with her daughter when she heard that by 2050 there would be more plastic in the ocean than fish. She realised that 2050 is less than 30 years away, and started wondering what the world around us will look like then. She wants her children and future grandchildren to have beautiful, healthy oceans they can swim in safely, and she wants to be proud of the planet that I pass on to them.
So, she created GRETA THE GREAT™ - a playful solution to plastic pollution. It is a children’s toy made from discarded fishing nets and other end-of-life maritime industry plastics (like ropes). Inspired by the sea turtle, Greta the Great™ is waterproof and ideal for bath or water play. The toy was designed with a lightweight, abstract form to encourage children’s imagination. Love it!

ABEL

Two brothers, Folko and Jelmer, on an adventure together: Abel. Both brothers are driven by a desire to make life an adventure. Discover new things. Push boundaries.
They create a tent which would not just be to play in, but more especially to be played with. This play tent offers such a positive contribution to the development of children, and more importantly – it’s so much fun. But it is not all.
They also create a unique shape and an impressive format of the blocks. Every block is made with love and by hand from a piece of beech wood. They can be greatly used to advance fine motor skills, concentration, perseverance, creativity and fantasy. It is also fantastic game material to teach children to work together.

Greener, more inclusive and polycentric cities. These are the metropolises imagined in the children's book Lettere dalle città del futuro, written by Beppe Sala, mayor of Milan, and published by DeA Planeta Libri.
Inspired by messages received over the years and by the dialogue with the city mayors worldwide, Sala tells to young people about the challenges and opportunities that await them.

It all begins with the mysterious appearance in Palazzo Marino of a letter dated February 20, 2031. From that moment on, the mayor's letter box becomes a sort of time machine that projects us into a future where many of today efforts, have triggered big changes in terms of traffic, urban green areas, construction and recycling.
